Recently, Michelle Obama has come under heavy media scrutiny for her “unpatriotic” and “negative” disposition. The criticism was launched, unsurprisingly, by Cindy McCain (John McCain’s wife, in case you haven’t heard of her). In order to diffuse media scorn, Michelle appeared on CBS’s all-women talk show The View:
She appeared, as many spectators have commented “complex and strong”- diplomatically navigating a diverse group of questions. If a wife’s disposition and public performance ability is any indicator of leadership, I figured, it might be good to check up on Cindy (since she has been fairly invisible during the course of the McCain campaign).
